Ever since the talk of Cars 2 began, I have been excited to see it! And now, with my little boy, that makes it even more exciting! I was so excited to be given the opportunity to take him over the weekend! He has recently become “obsessed” with Lighten McQueen from the Pull-Ups commercial, so I decided one day to put the movie Cars in the car DVD player and he has loved it! So when it came out, we knew we would have to take him!
Before the movie, we ordered our tickets from the Fandango App on my iPad. We ordered them before we left the house to run errands before the movie started. For those who have never tried this, it was the easiest thing I think I have ever done! It took me less than 5 minutes to order my tickets! I used the mobile app on my iPad so that I could order them away from my house! I was not able to print them, but I was able to use the kiosk at the theater and not wait in line and get my tickets within about a minute. I had never used Fandango before this time, but it was so easy and I will for sure be doing it again in the future. It was nice knowing that I would have tickets waiting for me at the theater, and not have to wait in the long line to get to a ticket window.

After ordering our tickets, we decided to head to Walmart and try and find a Lightning McQueen shirt for little man to wear to the movie. When we arrived at Walmart, there was a huge section set aside near the front of the store with TONS of Cars 2 gear. There was so many different things and little man just sat in the cart pointing to just about everything! He made my husband hand him things and then he would point to something else. It was quite funny! We ended up finding him a really cute shirt to wear and also bought him another one. One had Lightning McQueen on the front and the other had Mater on the front. He smiled when I held each one up to him, so of course we got him both!

Once we finished up at Walmart, we headed over to the movie theater to finally see the movie!
When I arrived at the movie theater, I went right up to the ticket kiosk with no wait at all!
I chose the Pick Up Tickets option on the screen and it promted me to to slide the card I used to pay for the Tickets on Fandango! I did this and within second my tickets were printed and ready to go!
Here is a video of the ticket kiosk at work! Sorry for all the loud background noise, but we all know how loud the movie theater lobby can be!
And we were ready to go in!!
But of course we forgot his shirt in the car, so the hubby went out to the car to retrieve it while we waited inside for him to come back!
All ready for the movie in his cute little shirt!
He sat through the entire movie and watched it. We all loved the movie! It was just as good as the first in my opinion. Which is always good, because sometimes the sequels just do not add up to the first movie, but this one did!
