Fellowes AP-300PH Air Purifier Review

Almost 1 year ago now, my son was diagnosed with Asthma. He had a horrible asthma attack and was hospitalized for 3 days because of the attack. I have been doing research ever since to try and figure out what I could do to prevent this from happening again. He was placed on a daily inhaler, and also had a rescue inhaler, but I wanted to make sure I was trying everything I could to prevent future attacks as well.

Since we aren’t 100% sure what creates his asthma issues, I figured I would try my best to prevent what I could, knowing that I probably would not be able to prevent everything! I got word of the Fellowes Air Purifier Campaign and knew I had to try it out. An air purifier was one of the things I have always read about that would help at least clean the air in my home which could help for any allergens lurking around the house.

When I first received the air purifier, I immediate opened it up to see what I had to of to get it started. It was super simple to get up and running. Simply open the front, and open and replace the filters in place. I was surprised at how simple it actually was to get going. Once I got the machine up and running, it runs a “scan” to see what the air quality is in the room. At this point, I was surprised to see that the air quality in my living room was surprisingly good. I figure it is the room we spend the most time in, and also the room that has the most traffic, so it would be the best place for the air purifier.

After beginning to use it, I was super surprised at how quietly it ran. Since the quality of my air isn’t too bad, it runs on low and you can barely here it running. Occasionally it will detect something that creates the air quality to go up and therefore creating the fan to run on a higher setting and even then you can barely hear it running. Which is a huge plus in my book. I also loved all the information that it gives on the screen.

I feel like the Fellowes Air Purifier has made a difference. My son is less stuffy and hasn’t had any asthma symptoms in quite some time. I am really thankful that the air purifier has helped him!
