Five Question Friday #5QF

Well, I have been a little off my game with the blogging world over the last little while! I am really working hard trying to get back in the game, so what better way to start? I loved doing this before, so I am going to jump back in with the Five Question Friday!!

So, here it goes!

1. What is one grammar issue you cannot let go without correction?

Oh man, there are a lot of them.

Your and You’re…I can’t stand that mistake. I mean how hard is it? You’re = You Are. A contraction! You wouldn’t say “it is you’re turn” because then you are really saying “it is you are turn” and clearly that doesn’t make sense, now does it?

Also the whole there, their, they’re. They are not interchangeable and each one means something different.

Look over there, that is where I saw the dog.

I would like to take their picture.

2. What’s your favorite thing about fall?

The cooler weather. I love being able to open the windows! Going outside without sweating to death. Perfect weather.

Also, breaking out the cool weather foods, my favorite is Chili!!

I will be making some soon!

Plus, when fall arrives, it is that much closer to all the holidays!

3. What’s your favourite dish to take to a potluck?

It is always something simple. I am not a huge cook, so therefore my go to dish is always some kind of appetizer or dessert. I make a lot of cakes and cupcakes, or meatballs and ham and pickle rolls. And I’ll tell you right now, try the ham and pickle roll and you will love them. Ham, Cream Cheese and a Pickle, wrap it up, amazeballs! (yeah, not proper grammar I am sure, but it was warranted when speaking of those ham rolls!)

4. When do you start Christmas (Holiday) shopping?

We are pretty last minute. We just have two little ones this year, so we might want to get a head start. Last year I am pretty sure we did all of our shopping in December. I did go out on Black Friday, but it was way to chaotic for me to accomplish anything! It was insane. But hopefully I will be able to get started soon!

5. Did you move homes a lot growing up?

I mean not really to me, I moved two times. (ok actually 3, but one of them I do not remember because I was a baby) So apparently we moved after I was born sometime, I do not even remember when that was. Then we moved again when I was almost 11. We lived in that house for 6 years before moving when I was in high school to the house my mom currently still lives in.

I then moved into an apartment right before getting married and then to the house we currently live in. So I have moved a total of 5 times in my life, only 3 being as a child. As much as I HATE moving, I would gladly move now! This house is getting a little cramped, but the good thing is, we have a house, so I won’t complain!
