Healthy Schools, Healthy Minds

Publix and Produce for Kids have teamed up together to host the second “Healthy Schools, Healthy Minds” event.

During this event (which ends tomorrow October, 24, 2012), you can visit your local Pulix Supermarket and simply add fresh product to your shopping items. When you do this, fresh fruit and vegetable producers will make a donation based on consumption of their produce, to DonorsChoose.org, which helps to fund classroom projects. The more shoppers add to their carts during this campaign, the more the schools will benefit.
Look for the Produce for Kids stand at your local Publix and you might find some characters from popular Sprout shows, Lazy Town and Noodle Doodle.
Produce for Kids has also launched a fun Pinterest contest. To find out more about that, go to the Produce for Kids website.
Also, I am hosting a giveaway for a $25 Publix giftcard, Produce for Kids and Sprout goodies!
All you need to do to enter is share with me what fruits and vegetables you will be adding to your cart. Simply comment below answering that question and you will be entered to win the prizes!
